Place of Birth: Kor'uhl Village, south of Auchindoun (destroyed during the creation of Outland)

--------------------------
Sanara Ylessa Mandri, born Sanara of Kor'uhl, was always doing her own thing, relentlessly and ignorant of the best of those around her.
From early childhood Sanara distanced herself from the 'norms' of Draenei culture, even to the degree of setting the Light and the Naaru aside as trivialities, and dedicating herself fully to the Spirits of Draenor.
Born not long before the Orcish Bloodthirst, Sanara had never seen any other world than Draenor, and loved her homeland more than anything, apart from her lover, a young Blade of Argus, Ylessa.
Her relationship to the other woman was kept silent, and they would never show a slightest sign of romance in public, as the superstitious and primitive people of Kor'uhl despised 'abnormalities' such as this.
Eventually Ylessa, being 'available', was set into an arranged marrige with a man named Moros, much to Sanara's distaste. When Ylessa made no effort to hinder the marrige and chose to accept her 'fate', she would seal Moros' fate instead.
Despite talking to Moros, Ylessa, as well as the fathers of the two, and finally to the Aldor Anchorite who had come to perform the ritual, Sanara realised there was nothing to do but take action.
As Moros was to initiate the wedding Sanara struck him down with a bolt of lightning, her first display of elemental powers to the onlookers, of who many shunned the Broken's teachings.
Following this she 'kidnapped' Ylessa, covering their escape with another bolt of lightning that injured several guests, and fled into self-imposed exile, far from Kor'uhl and the rest of Draenei society.
Ylessa was unsure wether to hate or love Sanara for her actions, but eventually they both settled down in a valley now long blown away from Outland, although their relation had coolend.
Some months passed and they would move from spot to spot, learning and taking power from the Spirits of Draenor, and meeting with many people of various origin.
However they soon learned of the Orcish Bloodthirst, and sought refuge among the remaining Draenei in a far-off corner of the world, none of which knew of their past.
As the years went by the Orcs finally turned their attention to the Great Dark Portal, the monstrous construct which lead unto a distant, unspoiled world.
Many more years passed in relative calm, the Draenei no longer hunted ruthlessly and lives growing into habit again. Sanara and Ylessa were now open with their relationship, since it seemed people wouldn't care less. Things seemed to, after several years, look bright again.
This changed when the Alliance Expidition pushed into Draenor through the Dark Portal, and much of the land was once again taken by war, up until the closing of the Portal.
The destruction of her homeworld was a crushing blow to Sanara, who barely survived the cataclysm itself in one piece. She blamed the Orcs and Humans for the destruction, and remain hateful for both of these races.
When the chaos settled the Draenei were once again struggling to survive as their entire world had changed, and Ylessa and Sanara headed into the wastes that remained to seek out the Spirits again.
As Illidan came to Outland along with his Naga and Blood Elves, the two women were once again headed back, for protection.
Contact with the Watcher Night Elves was made, although it was very brief as the Watchers were led on by Maiev Shadowsong to fight a desperate battle against Illidan. The Draenei remained outside the conflict, and witnessed the fall of Magtheridon and rise of the new 'Lord'.
Eventually, as Velen was to lead many of his people away in the Exodar, and Ylessa informed Sanara she would go with them. Sanara was torn between her love for her homeworld and Ylessa, but eventually assissted in the capture of the Exodar from the Blood Elves, and fled with her comrades.
Ylessa was considered missing in action after the re-capture of the Exodar. Her fate remained unknown.
Sanara however survived the crash, and still faithful and fully confident Ylessa wouldn't die so easilly, she sought day and night for any sign of her lover, alive or otherwise.
Eventually she began her work with the construction of a Draenei society on Azeroth, mourning the loss of both her homeworld and Ylessa, but none the less assisting in securing a future for her people on the Azuremyst and Bloodmyst isles.
Her current aim was to find and reach through the Dark Portal, no matter what it would cost her.
That, was where the human Merandil T. Haldén came in.
A dark figure, Merandil none the less seemed wise and appeared to know much of the Draenei, possibly too much. None the less she allowed the human to introduce her to the Alliance and its traditions, after which she chose to take "Ylessa Mandri" as a surname, to 'fit in' into the Alliance.
The man provided her with money, something she had never been interested in during her past life, but that she knew would be important on Azeroth, as well as providing her a small, not very noticable blue crystal, but he promised that as long as she had it, he, or his associates, would help her in her 'quest' to return to Draenor.

Yeh, that's pretty much it.
