Greetings Draenei!
I am Kneral McEric Azorius of the Council of Mages, and I seek to expand our ranks. You of the Exodus, have shown your talented use of the Arcane Arts, and you would be welcomed with open arms into our Council! Let me tell you what our very first Grand Magus has to say about this matter:
Dear citizens of Stormwind, Ironforge, Dalaran, and the Exodus.
The Council of Mages has been in operation for some long months. It is an organisation commissioned into existence by the Kirin Tor, and has proved extremely successful as a body of debate and magical supervision; with the help of hardworking mages, magicians, scholars and wizards such as Grand Magus Axio "the Black", Chancellor Kesthor Griff, Drageth Scholar of Flame and the Traveller Kneral Azorius, the Council continues to prosper. As part of the Council’s central duty to the magical community, it was recently decided that the Council will be assisting the training of the Holy Lightbringers and the King Household Cavalry in tackling the various demonic and cult-like behaviour rampant in and around Stormwind.
Such is the duty of the Council, and it changes and transforms with its Councillors, their experiences and their opinions. As it is, the Council has lost many of its original members – scholars lost to study, battlemages lost to war, and worse yet, mages lost to laziness.
The Council requires you, the wise and the arcane of mages’ districts in all our capitals, towns and cities. The Council is only as strong as the Councillors sitting on it; if you consider your accomplishments as a mage to be true accomplishments, if you are a follower of magecraft in its very essence, please seek out the Grand Magus or any Councillors immediately. Some aspect of the magical community may be represented by you. The arrival of Edaktitus Shacklebolt into the Council’s ranks is a positive change, and we hope that it signals a new turn of recruitment of Azeroth’s greatest and wisest mages.
Keep in mind; should you be a man or woman delving into the darker sides of the arcane arts, you will be considered a warlock and not even given a chance to join, unless you show ultimate dedication and enthusiasm to aid us in research, thus denouncing all connections with demonic forces and such harmful matters.
That is the issue of recruitment.
But secondly, the Council of Mages has an announcement, and it comes in the form of the creation of “The Academy”.
The Academy will be one of the main venues in which Councillors will maintain a link between the magical community, and the Academy will become a regular feature for all those interested. Primarily, mages will be taught the codes of magepractise; they will learn the intricacies of certain techniques; lectures will be given; essentially, the Council of Mages will resolve to teach the aspiring wizards of our time. This will include lessons held by the arcanist, Archmage Uruto, and the aforementioned former Archmage, Shacklebolt.
The venues and specifics are yet to be decided, but please do watch this space.
The Council of Mages is going to become a more prevalent force in the magical community. And you, as the community, have the ability to shape and invest in the policies of this central body.
Please contact the current Grand Magus and leader of the Council, Lady Axio.
Yours sincerely,
Archmage Uruto
I sincerely hope that you would consider joining.
Warm Wishes
Kneral McEric Azorius.

OOC:
Well, as you may know, we have been running the mage council for a couple of months now. As of now, we're in dire need of new Councillors, and or apprentices. The roleplay is great, and the whole idea is running smothly, as long as there is councillors.

Please, do consider joining. We need it. O.o
